Michel Brokke explores strategies and methodologies of experience design to develop hospitality spaces, brands and services.
He employs approaches such as journey mapping, lateral thinking techniques, emotional response measurements, prototyping, and contextual inquiries. Through these methodologies, Michel aims to contribute to an understanding of how hotel, restaurant, and catering experiences can be developed, as well as how such design projects can be managed.
Michel’s research projects provide insights for developers and policymakers on the interplay of the purpose, aesthetics, and usability of experiences, including their impact on hospitality guests and society.
