Research interests
Lobke is leading in disseminating the vision and focus of the European Agenda on digital and sustainable transformation in tourism through various projects. Consulting on digital tools and technical functionalities that support businesses, government, education, and social partners' efforts on platform use and implementations, digital & sustainable transformation, and research-based response models for a future-proof tourism sector. She proactively identifies and cultivates digital opportunities that support the adoption and optimization of the Next Tourism Generation approach in Europe.
Her mission is to bring the in-depth experience with an intuitive ability to seamlessly lead tourism's digital and sustainable transformation through interactive knowledge-based communities, networks and platforms for European audiences (industry, public authorities, social partners and other stakeholders) in The Netherlands and EU member states.
