Research interests
Jelmer Weijschede joined the Academy of Hotel and Facility Management in 2007 and currently works as a senior lecturer and researcher. Jelmer currently investigates the implications of the international higher educational standards on specific research- and design oriented courses. Next to this Jelmer shows a great interest in the effectiveness of educational approaches, wellbeing of students and employees, and selection procedures within Academies.
He developed, coordinated and taught the courses: Research; Methods and Techniques of Research; Investigative Abilities; Preparation Graduation.
He holds a Masters degree in System Ecology (Wageningen University) and a PHD in Evolutionary Plant Ecology (Radboud Univeristy Nijmegen)
