    Research interests

    A senior marketeer with over 22 years of experience in B2B and B2C Marketing gained across Europe, the US, and Brazil at start-ups, medium, and large-size companies at senior level, managing large teams and multi-million Euro budgets. Gilmara is passionate about researching marketing strategy, innovation, entrepreneurship and research, particularly within the areas of business innovation and resilience, and consumer/customer behaviour and decision making. She’s currently a Lecturer in Business Strategy and Innovation Management and a Researcher at Breda University of Applied Sciences in the Netherlands. Her PhD thesis is based on Evolutionary Psychology principles and focuses on the effect of hormones and other biomarkers on consumer decision making measured by biosensors.
