Research interests

Dorothé Gerritsen has been a lecturer event management since 1995 at the Academy for Leisure of Breda University of Applied Sciences. She has studied communication science in Nijmegen. From the International Event Management track, she initiates and supervises research projects in event marketing.

She is also active as a researcher and expert for CLC-VECTA Center for Live Communication. The book "The Event as a Strategic Marketing Tool" (Gerritsen and Van Olderen, revised in Dutch in 2017, International Edition published by Publisher Cabi in 2014) forms the basis for further expanding and disseminating her knowledge and expertise.
