Prof. Carlos Pereira Santos leads the research fields of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence at Breda University of Applied Sciences. He also brings extensive experience in the domains of Games, Mixed Reality, and Film.
He specializes in real-time solutions, game engine technology, multi-threaded distributed systems, algorithm optimization, and both high-level and low-level network programming. With a proven track record as an architectural and design authority in complex systems, Prof. Santos has a strong technical background. He is responsible for defining requirements and architectural designs, as well as coordinating various cutting-edge technology projects, including AI, Augmented Reality, and Serious Games.
