Activity: Talk or presentation › Guest lectures/talks/presentations (not at a conference)
Description
The day will be twofold, in the morning students get introduced to the concepts of play and gaming. We look into how and where games are used in the context of tourism to enhance the tourist experience and for behavioural change. Despite being entertainment and engaging, we will look into serious gaming as a tourism planning tool for policy making. In the second half of the day, we’ll get a hands on gameplay session on sustainable tourism planning for a city looking into stakeholder engagement, policy making, negotiation techniques and perspective taking.
