Description

Workshop: Innovative Tools and Methods for the Sustainable Development of European Maritime Regions.
Different institutions have developed tools for improved Marine Spatial Planning (MSP) and Integrated Coastal Management (ICM) in recent years, i.e. for planning and decision-making (decisions support systems, geographical information systems), for the integration of actors (stakeholder engagement) and knowledge transfer (dialogue, discussion and comparison). Within the workshop, the developed tools and methods were introduced, notably the MSP Challenge Simulation Platform.
