Apoorva Nanjangud - Film and Craft Tourism in India.

Description

The talk focused on two aspects; Media tourism, with a focus on Bollywood cinema in a transnational context, and Crafts tourism in India. Both the aspects deal with how leisure, culture and tourism can interact with each other in different ways focusing on an Indian context. Apoorva presented some of the themes from the interviews done on both the topics such as traceability and cultural sustainability.
